Description
Optical smoke / thermal multi-criteria fire detectors are a range of Hm-series by Morley. The optical-thermal sensors uses thermal assistance to the core photoelectric smoke detectors to give enhanced false alarm immunity and faster response to a wide range of incipient fires. The plug-in unit combines two separate sensing elements that are managed by embedded software to act as a single unit. The optical-thermal detectors conforms to EN54-7, a 58C fixed temperature and rate of rise thermal assistance conforming to EN54-5. The thermal detection function combines thermistor technology with a software corrected linear temperature response.

Notifier FSP-851(A) Series intelligent plug-in smoke detectors with integral communication provide features that surpass conventional detectors. Detector sensitivity can be programmed in the control panel software. Sensitivity is continuously monitored and reported to the panel. Point ID capability allows each detector’s address to be set with rotary, decimal address switches, providing exact detector location for selective maintenance when chamber contamination reaches an unacceptable level. The FSP-851(A) photoelectric detector’s unique optical sensing chamber is engineered to sense smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources. Dual electronic thermistors add 135°F (57°C) fixedtemperature thermal sensing on the FSP-851T(A). The FSP851R(A) is a remote test capable detector for use with DNR(A)/DNRW duct detector housings. FSP-851(A) series detectors are compatible with Notifier Onyx and CLIP series Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACPs).

Addressable Notifier FSP-951 smoke detector  ® Self-Test Series intelligent plug-in smoke detectors are designed for performance, ease of use and aesthetics. When used with Series N16 panel, the Self-Test Series detectors automatically perform maintenance tests of smoke and heat detection without using canned smoke or heat guns. The Self-Test process meets the three core NFPA requirements for detector maintenance: functional test, smoke entry test, and ability to verify a visual inspection has taken place. It is the first detector of its type to be approved by UL. It also retains the great features of the standard 951 series including the enhanced optical sensing chamber which is engineered to sense smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources in accordance with more stringent code standards. For ease, its sensitivity can also be programmed in the control panel software. Sensitivity is continuously monitored and reported to the panel.
